CFA - Gute Fit-Werte aber schlechte Ladungen

Hallo zusammen,

R spuckt mit bei meinem Modell gute Fit-Werte raus, allerdings sind die Ladungen sehr gering. Weiß jemand was mögliche Gründe dafür sein könnten? Es handelt sich um 0-1 Kodierungen der Items.

Ok, das würde ich an Deiner Stelle jetzt wahrscheinlich auch behaupten.

Vielleicht kann man einer sehr allgemeinen Frage wenigstens zwei sehr allgemeine Antworten entgegen halten:

It should be noted that a good-fitting model is not necessarily a valid model. For instance, a model all of whose estimated parameters are not significantly different from zero is a "good-fitting" model. Conversely, it should be noted that a model all of whose parameters are statistically significant can be from a poor fitting model. Additionally, models with nonsensical results (e.g., paths that are clearly the wrong sign) and models with poor discriminant validity or Heywood cases can be “good-fitting” models. Parameter estimates must be carefully examined to determine if one has a reasonable model.

Super important caveat
If your model fits well, that does NOT necessarily mean it is a “good” model, or that it reflects truth or reality well. In CFA even more so than other kinds of statistical modeling, the theory behind your model is crucial to deciding whether or not a model is any good. If you start playing around with SEM, you’ll quickly realize that for a given set of variables, there are often many different models that fit well, and they may even seriously contradict each other and/or suggest nonsensical relationships. Good model fit does not make a good model.
